At Emeritus, we're committed to delivering high-quality education to individuals and organizations worldwide. To achieve this, we're seeking an Academic Grader - Course Evaluation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our grading team, you'll be responsible for evaluating course content, updating grades on our Learning Management System, and resolving grading-related queries with our Subject Matter Experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate course content to gather assignment requirements
- Update grades on our Learning Management System
- Resolve grading-related queries with Subject Matter Experts
- Share corrections in rubrics with our design team
- Coordinate grading activities with cross-functional teams
- Identify and address plagiarized assignments
- Share insights with company stakeholders
- Identify exemplary submissions and reward badges
- Attend kick-off calls to understand course scope and objectives
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of work experience, preferably in teaching and evaluation
- Pursuing research work or experience as an academic writer or research assistant
- Proficient in written and oral communication
