The role of a Quality Assurance Engineer is critical in supporting inspection activities across various departments. As part of this position, you will be responsible for managing inspection activities, including hydro, balancing, PMI, and mobile spectro inspections.

About the Job

This involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with API standards and customer specifications. You will be responsible for evaluating product quality by conducting regular inspections and maintaining records of nonconformities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evaluate product quality by conducting regular inspections and maintaining records of nonconformities;
  • Work closely with Production department to carry out in-process activities and provide documentation to customers within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites, and supplier facilities;
  • Support Project Management team for milestone payment collection and MTC submission;
  • Collaborate with Commercial operations team on technical clarifications related to stage inspection;
  • Align with customers on quality requirements during pre-inspection meetings;
  • Maintain NDE persons qualification records and update NDE procedure with respect to latest Standards;
  • Support Engineering department in incorporating customer comments in procedures and maintain average lead time within 6 days for every project;
  • Manage relations with customers or third-party inspectors;
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events; and
  • Analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Pump and Valve Industries in compliance with API standard;
  • Understanding of product and process flow;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Diploma with 7-15 years or BE with 7-10 years of experience.
