We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Network Engineer to manage, maintain and troubleshoot our network infrastructure.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing protocols.
  • They will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining network hardware, such as routers, switches and firewalls, and resolving any issues that arise.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues
  • Performing regular network performance monitoring and optimization tasks
  • Configuring and deploying network devices and services
  • Implementing and managing network security measures
  • Providing technical support to end-users
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date network documentation
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on network performance
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 7-15 years of experience in network administration or a related IT field
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and technologies
  • Proficiency with network hardware and operating systems
  • Experience with network security principles and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Network Security

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure. This will involve conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, as well as implementing and managing network security measures such as firewalls and VPNs.

Network Virtualization

The ideal candidate will have experience with network virtualization technologies, such as VMware NSX or Cisco ACI. They will be responsible for configuring and managing virtual networks, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise.
