Portfolio Analyst Role

This is a role that entails conducting in-depth analysis and research to identify opportunities for new products in emerging markets.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze secondary market data and build business cases for new products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify product opportunities across various therapies based on medical and marketing feasibility.
  • Analyze secondary market data to understand available opportunities.
  • Preliminary IP landscaping of products with respect to patents globally.
  • Build business cases for selected products.
  • Track market updates like label expansions, competition entry, safety warnings, etc.
  • Conduct competitor analysis.
  • Identify entry channels through in-licensing and other opportunities.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong understanding of IP landscape in pharma across markets.
  • Good understanding of pharma regulations in US, EU, and Emerging Markets.
  • Good understanding of formulation selection processes.
  • Good understanding of forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategies.
  • Good understanding of data platforms like IQVIA, Corelli's, IPD analytics, Global Data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with command in Excel and PowerPoint.
Education Qualification:

A Master's degree in Pharmacy (M. Pharm), Master's degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.), or MBA from a Tier I Institute/University.

Work Experience:

3-5 years of experience in Portfolio, Strategy, and/or Intellectual Property Management.
