Product Development Engineer Position

Job Description:

As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and effective design solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Your primary focus will be on developing 3D models and 2D drawings of heavy fabrication components using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Key Creator Atlas. You will also perform strength, tolerance, and weld design calculations to ensure the manufacturability of designs.

In addition, you will prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and release drawings for production. Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME and ISO is crucial in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on expertise in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Key Creator Atlas
  • Proficiency in GD&T, welding symbols, and fabrication process knowledge
  • Experience in heavy steel structures and assemblies
