Memory Design Engineer Role

As a Memory Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing memory compilers and Fast Cache instances for our next-generation Cores, aiming to achieve outstanding Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) metrics.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of computer architecture concepts and be proficient in design verification techniques, including Sense amplifier analysis, self-time analysis, and marginality analysis.

In addition, the successful applicant should have a good grasp of high-speed/low-power CMOS circuit design, clocking schemes, Static and complex logic circuits, as well as Power versus Performance versus Area trade-offs.

A strong knowledge of physical implementation impact on circuit performance is also essential. Experience with FinFet technologies and bitcell stability analysis is desirable.

Lead responsibilities include leading a small team of designers and having a proven track record of successfully delivering memory design projects. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Circuit Design: Develop digital circuits for memory blocks such as SRAM, register files, and caches.

Simulation and Verification: Perform simulations and verification to ensure functionality and optimize for power, performance, area, timing, and yield.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SRAM/memory design Margin, Char, and related quality checks.
  • Experience with Cadence or Synopsys flows.
  • Experience with Circuit Simulation and Optimization of standard cells.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

  • Some experience working on Cadence or Synopsys flows.
  • Experience with Circuit Simulation and Optimization of standard cells.
