Product Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Specialist to join our team.

About the Position:
  • This role requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM), printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) process, and testability analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform DFM analysis in PCBA and fabrication analysis in printed circuit boards.
  2. Analyze testability and generate reports accordingly.
  3. Create procedures and checklists as per customer requirements.
  4. Generate reports based on findings and observations.
  5. Work with customers and internal teams to define design requirements and rules.
  6. Ensure adherence to set targets for process metrics.
  7. Coordinate timely generation and circulation of reports to stakeholders.
  8. Mentor team members and guide them towards effective deliverables.
  9. Train new and existing team members on relevant software and tools.
  10. Perform root cause analysis to expedite issue resolution.
  11. Prepare KPI reports for weekly and monthly operations reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4-7 years' experience in DFM, PCBA, and testability analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field, or Diploma in Electronics.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Reporting and decision-making skills.
