Senior Associate - US Tax Expert

The primary role of a Senior Associate is to review and ensure the quality of tax returns prepared by associates. This position requires a strong understanding of moderate and advanced tax concepts, including partnership and corporate tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Display a good level of understanding of tax concepts and continuously enhance tax knowledge.
  • Ensure exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to the team.
  • Train and mentor junior team members.
  • Assist the team in tax research and apply tax theory and principles appropriately.
  • Enhance teamwork and communicate effectively with teams in India and the US.
  • Provide assistance to managers on projects as requested.
  • Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching/mentoring abilities.
  • Experience working on US business tax returns (1065/1120) with complex situations.
  • Good knowledge of tax concepts, including forms 8865, 5471, 5472, and 1116.
