Job Title: Senior Tax Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our tax team. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for reviewing moderate to complex tax returns prepared by junior staff members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic and moderate tax concepts on individual tax returns (1040), as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze tax returns to ensure exceptional quality and timely delivery.
- Train and assist junior staff members with their questions on day-to-day basis.
- Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation (1040).
- Strong knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and coaching abilities.
- Able to manage a team and the team's workflow.
