Job Description

As a seasoned Senior Specialist, you will be leading the design, development and deployment of TrakSys MES solutions tailored to client requirements.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze manufacturing process requirements, customizing and configuring TrakSys workflows, data collection and reporting modules, and integrating TrakSys MES with other enterprise systems including SAP to streamline operations.

Responsibilities also include providing expert support and troubleshooting for MES-related issues, mentoring junior team members on TrakSys best practices and technical skills, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and quality controls through MES, documenting system configurations, processes and changes for future reference and audits, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance MES performance and usability.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive expertise in TrakSys preferably versions 11 and 12
  • Strong background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their implementation
  • Experience working with complex MES environments in manufacturing industries
  • Deep understanding of MES architecture and integration with enterprise systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize and maintain MES platforms to ensure smooth operations

Familiarity with software development and customization within TrakSys environments, knowledge of interfacing MES solutions with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous, and understanding of related technologies such as .NET, C#, SQL and JavaScript is beneficial.
