We are looking for talented engineers who can design scalable systems with a startup mindset.

Our team collaborates across Tech to ensure platforms and services are production-ready.

  • Create best-in-class systems for efficiency, stability, observability, velocity, and scale in the e-commerce space.
  • Influence cloud-native design and SRE best practices while maintaining critical pieces of Legacy Tools; collaborate with development teams to create scalable and reliable systems.
  • Work with software engineers and platform Engineers to optimize and develop repeatable systems.
  • Contribute to the broad conversation on system architecture and dive into code & architecture nuances.
  • Help service owners set realistic Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and error budgets.
  • Provide production support and creatively solve challenging engineering problems.
  • Participate in a shared on-call schedule managed across Engineering.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce human error.
  • Mentor new hires and other engineers through example, tech talks, paired programming, and other avenues.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, software development, or Cloud Infrastructure with understanding of distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), server-side software engineering (Python, Go, Java, BASH), and design experience with microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting, with a focus on performance monitoring, tracing instrumentation, and SLI/SLO/SLAs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform), and excellent communication skills.

  • Leadership experience in large technical initiatives, cross-functional consensus building, and influencing design decisions.
  • Ample experience gathering requirements from technical and business stakeholders and reaching prioritization consensus.
