Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of web application security controls, including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Bot Management, and API Security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the perimeter security of web properties keeps pace with the changing threat landscape. This includes working with global tech functions to onboard internet-facing web applications to WAF, reviewing logs, implementing tuning, and web blocking.

Additionally, the candidate will maintain accurate mapping of IP addresses, FQDNs, and services/applications. They will also liaison with service owners and associated teams to gather relevant application data for WAF migration purposes.

Analyzing web behavior and performance is crucial in establishing acceptable application thresholds. The candidate will perform policy tuning according to performance baseline, transition WAF from transparent to enforcement mode, and conduct data cleansing and validation.

Other responsibilities include participating in proof-of-concepts for new security capabilities, change management, and on-call rotation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and well-organized individuals are encouraged to apply.
