Senior Lawyer – Financial Transactions

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to lead legal operations in financial transactions, including supply chain finance and corporate lending. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and strategic legal advisory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, negotiate, and finalize financing documents and agreements in alignment with internal requirements.
  • Contractual Risk Management: Facilitate execution of financing documents and manage contractual risks.
  • Documentation Expertise: Demonstrate extensive experience in legal documentation related to supply chain finance, lending, NBFCs, and working capital.
  • Legal Research and Updates: Monitor case laws, statutory and regulatory updates impacting the organization.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide timely legal interpretations to support transactions and offer strategic advice on new legislation affecting business operations.
  • Best Practices: Develop and implement best practices to minimize legal exposure.
  • Reporting and Timelines: Ensure timely closure of all legal documentation and assigned matters.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in supply chain finance and NBFC guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of corporate laws and financial statements (balance sheet & P&L).
  • Proven collaboration with business and credit teams to optimize legal processes.
