Expert Migration Professional

The migration expert is responsible for the end-to-end execution of data migration activities. This role involves collaboration with local business and functional teams, acting as a bridge between Global Data Migration Experts and Data Migration Execution teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The deployment wave focal point for assigned data objects in scope for deployment or local data migration projects.
  • Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.
  • Drive migration activities for deployment projects.
  • Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects.
  • Manage DMW load file preparation and initial verification.
  • Execute DVT scripts and support defect/hypercare incident resolution for assigned data objects.
  • Coordinate defect resolution or escalate to GDMEs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GxP, CSV).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of ERP project implementation experience, strong data migration expertise.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS.
  • Strong understanding of GxP and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global matrix-based organization.
  • Strategic hands-on mindset running meetings, tracking progress, managing issues.
  • Excellent negotiation problem-solving organizational skills.
  • Fluent English additional languages preferred.
Preferred Experience:
  • Exposure to healthcare regulated industry environments.
  • Prior experience leading data migration in large ERP programs.
