Senior Cybersecurity Executive

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a talented team of cybersecurity professionals and drive the strategic development of information security initiatives across the globe. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for managing regional day-to-day operations, collaborating with executive leadership, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with Global Information Security leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives.
    • Support regional executive leadership to ensure adequate resourcing and support for cybersecurity operations and initiatives.
    • Provide executive-level support for regional security risk assessment and treatment activities, emphasizing collaboration with stakeholders to develop and promote security practices.
    • Contribute to global security governance and reporting activities, providing regular updates to senior management on information security practices relevant to the organization.
  • Team Management and Oversight:
    • Lead and mentor the cybersecurity team, focusing on coaching, developing teams, managers, and key contributors.
    • Maintain alignment between the Global Information Security team and the regional cybersecurity team on information security policies, processes, and practices.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the cybersecurity team.
    • Ensure effective coordination and communication between teams to maintain productive working relationships and deliver a cohesive security posture.
  • Application & Cloud Security:
    • Provide oversight and executive-level support for adoption of security best practices in software development and cloud security, including secure architecture design and threat modeling.
  • Security Operations:
    • Provide technical oversight and executive-level support for the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls for the organization's SaaS platform and computing resources.
    • Support effective 24/7 security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and threat intelligence capabilities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Provide oversight and executive-level support for compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to the organization's operations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
    • Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as a key executive representative and liaison between departments and divisions, addressing customer security concerns and requirements.
