Job Title: Digital Transformation Lead

Job Summary:

As a Digital Transformation Lead at Hempel, you will play a key role in driving the company's digital transformation by taking ownership of all procurement capabilities from a digital perspective. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, develop product roadmaps, and ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our procurement initiatives.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into product features and user stories.

- Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of product features and enhancements.

- Work closely with development teams, architects, and designers to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

- Conduct sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews to ensure effective execution of product roadmap.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, making data-driven decisions to drive improvements.

Requirements:

- Significant experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of procurement processes, methodologies, and industry standards. (lean, continuous improvement, Ind 4.0)

- In-depth knowledge of digital technologies relevant to procurement such as automation, robotics, IoT, AI, and data analytics.

- General behavioral competencies most relevant for the job

- Leadership: Exhibit strong leadership skills to guide and inspire teams through the digital delivery.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Provide clear direction and support to team members

- Business Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of business processes and operations.

- Identify how digital technologies can drive value, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

- Project Management: Demonstrate strong project management skills to oversee digital transformation initiatives.

- Develop project plans, define deliverables, allocate resources, and manage timelines and budgets.

- Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.

- Data and Analytics: Have a solid understanding of data and analytics concepts and their application in digital transformation.

- Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives.

- Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Translate complex digital concepts into clear and understandable language.

- Tailor messages to different audiences and utilize various communication channels.

- Problem Solving: Exhibit strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Identify barriers and challenges to digital transformation and develop innovative solutions.

- Anticipate and address potential risks and obstacles
