Job Description

As a key member of our team, you'll lead our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up. You'll ensure we have the resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance Fundraising:
    • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
    • Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, and manage financial modelling and investor relations.
    • Build robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
    • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Marketplace Operations:
    • Design and execute our marketplace operations playbook.
    • Develop operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
    • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts and events meet attendee demand.
    • Build trust and safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Scaling Partnerships:
    • Oversee legal and compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
    • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
    • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
    • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.
