Product Security Engineer II

The role of Product Security Engineer II is to ensure the security and integrity of our products throughout their development lifecycle. This includes identifying potential security risks, developing strategies to mitigate them, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective security measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect our products from cyber threats.
  • Analyze and assess potential security vulnerabilities in our products and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that security is integrated into the product development lifecycle.
  • Lead the development and implementation of secure coding practices and guidelines for developers.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to inform our security strategy.
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of experience in a related field, preferably in software development or cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security-related certifications or training a plus.
