Functional Technical Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Absence and Time Tracking Functional Consultant to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Workday Absence and Time Tracking module.
  • Provide expert guidance on Workday Absence and Time Tracking best practices.
  • Gather business requirements, lead client workshops, develop and maintain functional documentation, and translate requirements into Workday system configurations.
  • Configure Workday Absence business processes, including leave of absence, accruals, time-off plans, eligibility rules, and absence reporting.
  • Configure Workday Time Tracking business processes, including work schedules, time entry, time calculations, and approvals.
  • Configure Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of business processes.
  • Work closely with data and integration teams, providing functional inputs, validating test scenarios, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Conduct system testing, including preparing test cases, executing tests, and resolving defects.
  • Develop training materials and provide end-user training.
  • Stay updated with Workday features and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
Key Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in implementing Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Absence and Time Tracking best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to gather and document business requirements.
  • Familiarity with Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with system testing and validation.
