About the Role

As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you'll play a critical role in preventing and detecting unauthorized access, troubleshooting security issues, and improving system tuning and stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security risks, analyze vulnerability assessments, and balance security with business needs
  • Lead and manage the vulnerability management program, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities
  • Track and report on the status of vulnerabilities, providing detailed metrics and trends to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Integrate threat intelligence feeds and reports into security operations processes to enhance the identification and prioritization of investigations and vulnerabilities
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence sources to stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends, and assess their potential impact on the organization's security posture
  • Provide guidance and support on vulnerability management and threat intelligence processes and best practices
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to address vulnerabilities in third-party products and services
  • Lead vulnerability management and threat intelligence-related projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope
  • Assist in general security operations investigations as needed, as well as participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in information security or a related field
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical teams to understand and prioritize efforts
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team and independently manage and resolve issues
  • Technical skills and knowledge including networking principles, CIA processes, threat hunting techniques, and security concepts
  • Experience evaluating networks, systems, and applications including firewalls, patches, and logs for vulnerabilities and anomalies
  • Experience with security tools including vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, SIEM, and SOAR
  • Certifications desired but not required (CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISA, GSEC, SSCP)
