We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Environmental Professional to contribute to the Oil & Energy sector's environmental initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring environmental compliance and promoting sustainability.

Job Overview:
  • Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments and guarantee all projects adhere to stringent environmental regulations
  • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans and policies
  • Maintain regular checks on environmental performance and conduct audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure strict adherence to environmental laws and standards
  • Provide extensive training and support to staff on environmental best practices and regulations
  • Analyze complex environmental data and prepare detailed reports for senior management and regulatory agencies
  • Implement effective pollution prevention measures and strategies to enhance sustainability
  • Work closely with various departments to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in environmental engineering or a related role, preferably in the Oil & Energy industry
  • Strong understanding of local, national, and international environmental regulations
  • Experience with conducting thorough environmental impact assessments and audits
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders effectively
  • Proficient in environmental management systems and reporting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
