Marine Operations Coordinator Role

As a key member of our team, the Marine Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily fleet operations. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure seamless coordination with various departments and stakeholders.

The primary objective of this role is to guarantee compliance with safety and regulatory standards. To achieve this, we need an individual who can effectively manage documentation, maintain open lines of communication with clients, and collaborate closely with the team to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Ensure vessels meet charter party terms by monitoring noon reports and coordinating with masters.
  • Collect cargo documents from vessels at load/discharge ports.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of vessel performance in line with charterers' expectations.
  • Prepare comprehensive freight invoices and demurrage claims.
  • Deliver deck and engine logs to charterers within specified deadlines.
  • Develop and implement timely invoicing processes and follow up with charterers accordingly.
  • Support day-to-day vessel operation and provide assistance as needed.
  • Select and approve agents for vessel operations after careful evaluation.
