International Ticketing SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented International Ticketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GDS systems, airline regulations, and international travel advisories.Key Responsibilities:
  • Book and issue international air tickets with precision using GDS platforms, ensuring accuracy in fare selection and itinerary construction.
  • Process ticket modifications, cancellations, reissues, and refunds in accordance with airline policies and fare rules.
  • Construct and verify international fares and routings manually and through GDS to ensure cost-effective options for clients.
  • Assist clients with queries related to international flights, including baggage policies, seating, check-in requirements, and schedule changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with airline regulations, IATA standards, visa and entry requirements, and international travel advisories to provide accurate information.
  • Manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) efficiently, ensuring they are ticketed, updated, and queued as needed for follow-up actions.
  • Liaise with airline representatives to resolve ticketing issues, confirm special service requests (SSR), and ensure smooth communication.
  • Maintain meticulous records of tickets issued, fare sheets, refunds processed, and supplier communications for audit and reference.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for invoice generation, fare reconciliation, and payment processing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in international air ticketing.
  • Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.).
  • Familiarity with IATA and airline fare rules, refund policies, and international routing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English; additional language skills are a plus.
