Job Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator position is a key role within our organization, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This includes maintaining up-to-date records in HRIS/payroll systems, ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations, and collaborating with the HR team to coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payroll information.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies to minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Handle a range of payroll components, including deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and compensation-related activities.
  • Prioritize preparation of payroll reports for internal use and external audits.
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries related to payroll and earnings.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
  • Support year-end activities such as tax form distribution.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations, applying knowledge to improve processes and reduce risk.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of relevant software and systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.
  • Proven attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
