As a key member of the operations team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional events and exceeding client expectations. Your primary objective will be to drive operational excellence, ensuring seamless event execution, guest satisfaction, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Execution: Oversee day-to-day operations for all banquet and catering functions, including planning, execution, and team management.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, culinary, and service teams to deliver outstanding events—corporate, social, and weddings.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement SOPs for seamless event logistics, from setup through execution and close-out.
  • Quality Standards: Monitor quality standards, guest satisfaction, and service delivery across all events and catering operations.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor teams in banqueting, kitchen stewarding, and F&B; recruit, train, and manage departmental staff.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and drive efficiencies for maximum profitability.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with health, safety, food handling, and local regulations.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and nurture client relationships to maximize repeat business and event referrals.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze operational metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvements in processes and performance.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's/master's degree in hospitality, hotel management, or related field.
  • Operational Experience: Minimum 5+ years' operational leadership experience in banqueting and catering in hotels or high-volume venues.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in team management, event operations, and logistical planning.
  • Skill Set: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of handling premium events and client satisfaction.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office, event management systems, and financial controls.
