Job Title: Research Scientist - Process Innovation

The role is responsible for conducting scientific experiments, analyzing and interpreting results to drive business value in Process Innovation. The successful candidate will report to the Sr Team Leader - Process Innovation and contribute to the overall success of CreAgro Chemistry by driving innovation and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct scientific experiments and analyze data to inform business decisions
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
  3. Develop and maintain knowledge of chemistry trends and developments
  4. Support the Team Leader with functional feedback and target setting
  5. Maintain documentation and reporting of research results
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from a reputable university or institute
  • At least 2-7 years of experience in process research, preferably in Contract Research Organizations (CROs) or Contract Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS)
  • Strong experimental skills and ability to interpret analytical data such as NMR
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Organic Chemistry
  • Experience working in industry, particularly in pharmaceutical or agrochemical sectors
  • Familiarity with search engines like Scifinder and Reaxys
