Choksi Heraeus Pvt Ltd is urgently seeking a chemist with expertise in metallurgy to join the metal industry team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in chemistry and metallurgy, focusing on analyzing and improving the properties of metal materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct chemical and metallurgical analyses of metal samples to assess their composition, properties, and performance.
  • Perform material testing, including mechanical and physical testing, to evaluate the quality and suitability of metal products.
  • Develop and optimize metal alloys and formulations to meet industry and customer specifications.
  • Investigate and resolve quality and performance issues related to metal products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, quality improvement, and process optimization.
  • Utilize specialized laboratory equipment and instruments for metallurgical analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and research findings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures within the laboratory and manufacturing areas.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in metallurgy.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues related to metallurgical processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff and assist in process improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Education: B Sc, Master's degree (MSc) or higher in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in metallurgical analysis, alloy development, or quality control within the metal industry.
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, metal characterization techniques, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in using specialized metallurgical equipment and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and apply new metallurgical techniques and methodologies.
