About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineering Manager to lead our technical teams in delivering scalable and secure backend systems for payments and settlements. Your expertise in TypeScript/Node.js and API design will drive the development of robust infrastructure atop fragmented on/off-ramp integrations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and scaling backend systems for web and mobile applications
  • Mentoring and managing a small engineering team across infra + app layers
  • Ensuring security, scalability, and regulatory readiness

You will be responsible for architecting and implementing the technical vision for our stablecoin payments initiative, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership experience in scaling early-stage systems, a track record of integrating external APIs across geographies, and a deep understanding of fintech or payments.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership, ship fast, and thrive amid ambiguity. If you have 6+ years of backend engineering experience and a passion for innovation, we want to hear from you.
