Inventory Management Role

A Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing inventory by ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing supplies. This role ensures stock levels are maintained, goods are rotated correctly, and proper storage and hygiene are upheld.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Supplier coordination: Develop relationships with vendors to negotiate prices and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, orders, and supplier interactions.
  • Stock checks: Conduct regular stock checks to identify any discrepancies or issues.
  • FIFO/FEFO implementation: Implement first-in-first-out (FIFO) or first-expired-first-out (FEFO) methods to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Vendor coordination: Collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues or concerns related to supply chain management.
