Chief Cloud Architect

This is an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge organization as a Cloud Architect.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional with a solid background in DevOps practices, cloud platform management, and IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust cloud solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
• Define cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud with existing enterprise infrastructure.
• Oversee networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid cloud setups.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis for critical failures.
• Work closely with software development, QA, and security teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Act as a point of contact for cloud-related decision-making and problem resolution.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field: A strong educational foundation in computer science or a related field is essential for this role.
• 10-12 years of hands-on experience in AWS / Azure / GCP architecture and services: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in DevOps tools: Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform is required.
• Deep understanding of networking, Linux/Windows servers, and IT operations: A deep understanding of networking principles, Linux/Windows server administration, and IT operations is necessary for success in this role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and governance: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and governance.
• Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure platforms: Extensive experience working with AWS and/or Azure platforms, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and Kubernetes, is required.
• Proven experience in leading mission-critical cloud projects: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful cloud projects, including hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Strong grasp of cloud architecture principles, security best practices, and DevSecOps integration: A deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, security best practices, and DevSecOps integration is necessary for success in this role.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation: Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation is required.
• Experience implementing and managing Kubernetes at scale: The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and managing Kubernetes at scale, including security and lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of networking within a cloud context: A deep understanding of networking principles within a cloud context is necessary for success in this role.
• Deep experience with CI/CD tooling and GitOps workflows: The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD tooling and GitOps workflows, including tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, FluxCD/ArgoCD.
• Skilled in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go: Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go is required.
• Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks: The ideal candidate will have experience working with monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks, including tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.
• Experience with config management tools: Experience with config management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is required.
• Strong leadership in incident management, RCA, documentation, and knowledge sharing: The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading incident management, RCA, documentation, and knowledge sharing efforts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary for success in this role.
