Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Plant Controlling for our Continental team in the Manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies in the monthly closing of the Plant Financials.
  2. Prepare and analyze all reports to maintain financial accuracy for all processes, and analyze business trends to provide required explanations for deviations from budget vs. actuals.
  3. Support the Sales team in understanding the Sales situation by providing monthly MIS (Budget vs. Actual), Customer-wise/project-wise Sales analysis, etc.
  4. Coordinate with the Sales Team for Sales Budget & FC Preparation, with trends of Volume, Sales Price.
  5. Perform profitability calculations at various stages of projects, prepare for capital requests, global reports, etc.
  6. Prepare and analyze price tracking sheets, calculate SPV, and discuss deviations with the Sales head for improvements.
  7. Drive for cost optimization & securing Budget goal to achieve Profit target.
  8. Responsible for Budget preparation for the Plan, analyze and highlight gaps, and discuss improvement plans. Review and finalize inventory valuation, accruals, etc.
  9. Evaluate the performance of all new projects and ensure the achievement of targets set during project award.
  10. Prepare cost tracking for all changes in the project and provide the expected price increase from the customer.
  11. Prepare budgets and finalize them, coordinate budgeting activities with various departments. Analyze actual performance vs. budget, ensure the execution of all MIS reports with quality and accuracy, and ensure timely submission of various reports to the Central team with quality and accuracy.
  12. Prepare, analyze variations reports, and support relevant stakeholders in preparing improvement plans.
  13. Team Management & Career Development Plan & Training with competency matrix.
  14. Drive Digitalization & Automation for various reports, Digitalization of Records, and Drive for 5S culture.
  15. Full understanding of P&L, B/S, Financial topics, etc. Good knowledge of MS Office, specially Excel, and PowerPoint. Highly developed inter-personal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business.
  16. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, knowledge of Budgeting & Planning, knowledge of Manufacturing Process costing.

Requirements:

  1. Candidate should be CWA qualified from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, with 10-15 years' experience, at least 5-6 years in the Automobile industry, leading teams.
  2. Experience of working with cross-functional teams in production, supply chain, quality, etc. SAP, MIS, Excel, & Power BI.
  3. Understanding of business, including profit and loss; Customer process know-how; Strategic thinking; Sales forecasting; Negotiation skills; knowledge of effective communication with customers and customer relationship management; Escalation Management; knowledge of relevant industry standards, processes, and rules, and internal decision-making structures.
