Senior Export Operations Coordinator

This role is responsible for overseeing and analyzing multiple projects within the banana export operations, focusing on temperature monitoring from farm to cold storage, dispatch, pre-carriage transportation, and voyage.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, ability to monitor processes, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and track multiple projects related to banana export operations.
  • Coordinate with farm supervisors, packhouse teams, logistics providers, and cold storage operators to ensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure dispatches are completed within schedule and meet quality standards.
Cold Chain Monitoring & Analysis:
  • Monitor and document temperature data at all stages: farm, cold storage, dispatch, pre-carriage transport, and voyage.
  • Analyze logger reports to identify deviations or breakdowns in cold chain management.
  • Recommend corrective actions to prevent spoilage and maintain export quality.
Reporting & Optimization:
  • Perform detailed analysis of supply chain data to optimize processes and reduce losses.
  • Prepare regular reports highlighting performance, deviations, and recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring of critical parameters.
Customer Complaint Management:
  • Investigate customer complaints related to container quality, temperature deviations, or product spoilage.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and identify corrective/preventive actions.
  • Share findings with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to avoid recurrence.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cold chain management and fruit export processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with temperature logger systems and reporting formats.
  • Effective communication and coordination with diverse stakeholders.
  • Root cause analysis (RCA) and complaint resolution skills.
