About this role

This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive suite of tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our unified fast file and object platform.

You will work closely with developers, solution architects, and product managers to define and develop test coverage for various use cases.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software testing and automation, preferably in an enterprise storage environment. Experience working with distributed systems architecture and flash storage is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of file systems, protocols, and data replication.
  • Experience with automation tooling such as pytest.
  • Good understanding of end customer usage and deployment of storage systems.
  • Familiarity with application ecosystems and directory services.
Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Developing and executing system tests for new and existing features.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to validate test environments.
  • Reviewing product requirements, design documents, and customer use cases.
  • Designing and developing automation scripts to execute system tests.
  • Identifying and documenting defects discovered during testing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of file systems, protocols, and data replication.
  • Experience with automation tooling such as pytest.
  • Good understanding of end customer usage and deployment of storage systems.
