Job Title: Chess Director

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our nationwide chess program, designing a comprehensive K-8 curriculum that integrates chess with mathematics, language arts, science, and social-emotional learning.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing plug-and-play lesson kits, cross-curricular micro-modules, and teacher training pathways. They will also be responsible for scaling the program across multiple campuses, ensuring high-quality implementation and impact measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum & Program Architecture: Develop the Chess Vision & Roadmap (K-8) with clear outcomes, publish instructional standards, and scope & sequence.
  • Curriculum Development: Design lesson kits, create cross-curricular micro-modules, and localize early-years materials.
  • Teacher Training: Provide training and support for teachers to effectively implement the Chess program.
  • Program Evaluation: Measure the impact of the Chess program and make data-driven decisions to improve its effectiveness.
