Senior Financial Systems Analyst

About the Role:

The team focuses on developing capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Oracle ePBCS and ePCM environments, ensuring system availability and performance.
  • Manage and monitor data loads using tools such as FDMEE, Data Exchange, Data Pipeline, and Data Integration.
  • Perform rigorous data validation to ensure completeness and accuracy across planning and profitability models vs. Source Systems.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user training documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day support to finance users, resolving issues and answering functional/system-related queries.
  • Create & optimize new processes and automate existing processes in the Oracle EPM environment including the Monthly Patch testing requirements in both systems.

Projects & Enhancements:

  • Improve and optimize existing calculation models and allocation logic in ePBCS and ePCM.
  • Design, develop, and maintain business rules, including complex logic beyond basic data copy or clear operations.
  • Lead and support system testing, including the creation of test scripts and execution of test plans for enhancements and patches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and new functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ePBCS, PBCS, or Hyperion Planning.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing business rules and allocation logic.
  • Foundational understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts, including P&L structure and forecasting processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
