Job Title:

Portfolio Accountant


About the Role:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Portfolio Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting functions as assigned.
  • You will work closely with internal and external teams to complete various tasks, including monitoring cash breaks, resolving issues, and reviewing deliverables.
Responsibilities:
  1. Ownership and Accountability: You will be responsible for timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on the status of aged and significantly sized breaks.
  2. Review and Quality Assurance: As the Primary reviewer and quality assurance of your team's deliverables, you will ensure that all output meets expected quality standards.
  3. Fee Calculation and Booking: You will calculate, book, and review deal-wise fees such as Management, Incentive/carry etc., as assigned.
  4. Customer Satisfaction and Process Efficiency: Act as the main point of contact between the Client/CRM and our team, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring process efficiency is maintained at all times.
  5. Documentation and Communication: Participate in calls/meetings between the team, Client/CRM to help set expectations right and document the same to clear any understanding gaps.
  6. Technical Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of various applications used to complete tasks.
  7. Problem-Solving: Perform Root Cause Analysis of problems and escalate to Manager as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Fund Accounting.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
