Financial Analyst Position

As a skilled professional, the Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting Portfolio Managers and Chief Investment Officers with their investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modeling: Develop comprehensive financial models incorporating scenario analysis to evaluate potential outcomes and inform strategic decisions.
  • Valuation Methods: Utilize DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation techniques to determine fair value and provide actionable insights.
  • Investment Idea Generation: Screen large datasets to identify promising investment opportunities and support PM/CIOs in their decision-making processes.
  • Research Support: Prepare earnings reviews, preview calls, and management meetings, as well as create pitch notes/presentations and industry/thematic notes.
  • Database Management: Design and maintain databases to streamline research workflows and improve data accessibility.
  • News Analysis: Collect and analyze news articles to stay informed on market trends and sector developments.
  • Ad Hoc Requests: Handle special research requests from clients and internal stakeholders.

Maintaining open communication channels with clients and other stakeholders is crucial for success in this role.

Key Competencies
  • Exceptional Financial Modeling: Proven ability to develop accurate and comprehensive financial models with clear revenue/cost driver assumptions.
  • Strong Research Skills: Excellent research report-writing and presentation-making skills, with an eye for detail and ability to handle multiple workflows under tight deadlines.
  • Client Relationship Management: Effective client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Numerical Abilities: Strong numerical abilities, including proficiency in building complex models and carrying out earnings sensitivity analysis.

A background in using technologies such as Python, SQL, and Power BI would be advantageous, but not essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
