Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to fill the role of Senior System Administrator. This is a critical position that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Wintel and Networking, as well as Server and Network Administration and Troubleshooting. Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional IT support to customers
  • Monitoring IT infrastructure and administration
  • Driving problem investigations and resolution as required

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting Windows server issues, monitoring the network, analyzing network alerts and diagnosing network errors, managing and troubleshooting Physical and Virtual servers, administering Hyper-V and VMware, and planning upgrades and updates of infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Wintel and Networking
  • Strong customer service experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Server and Network Administration and Troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge and experience of Server Roles i.e., AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File & Print, RDS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience working on Hyper-V and VMware
  • Advanced knowledge of Firewalls, Switching, and Routing
  • Knowledge of backups and storage i.e., SAN and NAS
  • Hands-on experience with Wintel networking
  • Experienced in networking monitoring tools
  • Experience with data center monitoring and ops is good to have
