Lead Data Architect Job

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Architect to spearhead the development of our data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud-native data services, experience with big data technologies, and strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques.

About the Role

This key position involves designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure data architectures that meet business requirements. You will lead the implementation of data solutions on various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP) and define and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data architectures that meet business needs.
  • Lead the implementation of data solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve data infrastructure.
  • Create detailed documentation of data architecture, data flows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred qualifications include experience with DevOps practices and tools, knowledge of data governance tools and practices, and certification in one or more cloud platforms.
