Business Financial Analyst

As a pivotal team member of our financial planning and analysis department, you will play a key role in bridging the finance function with controllership teams to close Management Information System (MIS) reports and optimize costs across various functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the business, cost drivers, and other organizational functions by conducting data-driven trend analysis for operational metrics, focusing on enhancing the profit and loss statement while providing valuable insights to leadership.
  • Establish processes for new initiatives and refine existing ones, emphasizing effective governance and minimizing cost leakage.
  • Prepare, manage, and publish business scorecards and MIS reports.
  • Perform reconciliation of MIS and book of accounts to finalize monthly MIS reports.
  • Manage stakeholders and collaborate closely with Controllership and Business Finance teams.
  • Ensure weekly dashboards are completed for weekly and monthly reviews.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis on various projects as required.

Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience post-CA qualification (CA is mandatory).
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheet skills and good business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous experience in FP&A is desired, with a preference for start-up experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
