High Availability System Developer

We are seeking experienced engineers who can drive reliability, scalability, and efficiency in building tools, services, and automation to manage and improve production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve the reliability and performance of distributed systems and containerized deployments using strong engineering principles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex distributed systems handling millions of queries per second.
  • Set up, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot various PaaS components like Firewalls, VPN gateways, Load Balancers, Storage accounts, Networks, and others.
  • Automate tasks with minimal intervention using Perl, GoLang, or Python.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack - hardware, software, application, and network.
  • Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure that enables high availability, scalability, and efficient operations.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations as part of a collaborative team.
  • Drive performance testing, capacity planning, and high availability practices.
  • Owning implementations of new technologies while ensuring proper testing and documentation.
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and solve issues that could impact our Infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Linux and command-line driven work environment.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and deployment/troubleshooting of containers.
  • Understanding of cloud platform Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Database technologies, specifically MySQL/NoSQL is a plus.
  • Natural team player and resourceful attitude.
  • Buddy new team members and get them production ready.
