Piping Stress Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Piping Stress Engineer to fill a pivotal role within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stress analysis using Caesar II software and pipe supports design for pipelines/piping above-ground and underground, ensuring optimal structural integrity.
  • Identify critical data required for surge analysis and extract surge force from PIPENET software, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive surge analysis reports and conduct technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations, promoting quality assurance.
  • Closely coordinate with non-metallic pipe vendors to obtain accurate pipe properties, guaranteeing precision in design.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692), ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Effectively manage project schedules, quality, and allocated resources, optimizing overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping stress analysis and pipe support design, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of pipe stress analysis software and design codes, with the ability to apply complex concepts in practical scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
