Piping Stress Engineer

Our team is looking for a highly skilled Piping Stress Engineer with expertise in stress analysis, pipe support design, and surge analysis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the field and be proficient in Caesar II and PIPENET software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough stress analysis on piping systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Design and install pipe supports to prevent damage and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze data from various sources to identify potential surge risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive surge analysis reports as part of project deliverables.
  • Evaluate system designs to minimize pressure surges and optimize performance.
  • Conduct regular technical reviews to ensure adherence to industry codes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with vendors to obtain necessary pipe properties and specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest design codes and standards, including ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and ISO 14692.
  • Develop project execution plans, work instructions, and standard drawings according to client requirements.
  • Estimate project costs and allocate tasks to team members effectively.
  • Oversee project schedules, quality, and budget to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, project managers, and vendors to resolve critical issues.
