Senior Game Programmer Job Description\

We are seeking a visionary Senior Unreal Game Programmer to spearhead the development of engaging gameplay and mechanics for our game.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, gameplay mechanics, and technical specifications.
  • Design and implement complex gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Unreal Engine, ensuring seamless integration with the project's vision.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide actionable feedback to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to tackle intricate technical challenges, optimize performance, and enhance overall game quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their growth and expertise in Unreal Engine and game development best practices.

Requirements:

\
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Senior Unreal Game Developer or similar role, with a notable portfolio of completed projects.
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine and a deep understanding of its core systems, Blueprints, and C++ programming.

Preferred Skills:

\
  • Shipped at least one title on PC, console, or mobile platforms using Unreal Engine, with active involvement in the project for more than 6 months.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
