IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, with experience in monitoring networks and assets for security issues, installing and maintaining security software, and resolving security breaches.
- Monitor computer networks and IT assets for potential security threats
- Install, operate, and maintain security software to protect against cyber-attacks
- Respond to and document security incidents, working closely with the team to contain and resolve any issues that may arise
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the information security field
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with the team
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, malware, phishing, SIEM, antivirus, and IDS & IPS concepts
- Experience with centralized log management, SIEM or SOAR systems
- Familiarity with email protection and fraud defense systems
- Ability to creatively research and resolve security issues in an efficient manner
