API Gateway Developer

We are seeking an experienced API Gateway Developer to join our team. As an API Gateway Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using Axway API Gateway and Axway API Manager.

About the Role
  • Design and implement architecturally compliant system landscapes.
  • Develop, modify, test, implement, document, and maintain systems software and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, operating system, and other infrastructure problems.
  • Monitor systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors.
  • Prepare network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Designing and implementing system landscapes that meet architectural requirements.
  2. Developing, testing, and deploying software and hardware components.
  3. Identifying and resolving technical issues with servers, operating systems, and infrastructure.
  4. Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
  • Hands-on experience with API development, integration patterns, and securing enterprise APIs.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex API design and integration issues.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with various API gateways, including Axway, AWS, and equivalent cloud platforms.
  • Able to advise application teams on developing high-quality APIs that comply with architectural and security standards.
  • Effective communication skills to gather requirements, explain API concepts, and drive best practices.
  • Broad understanding of web service implementation paradigms (REST, SOAP) and WSDL/Swagger.
