About this role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Cost Manager Trainee.

As a Cost Manager Trainee, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for construction projects.

You will analyze project costs, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with client requirements.

The successful candidate will conduct on-site measurements and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications.

You will evaluate contractor claims, variations, and valuations.

Ensuring proper documentation is essential, especially with respect to Drawing Register Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates and BOQs
  • Analyze project costs, budgets, and schedules
  • Conduct on-site measurements and inspections
  • Evaluate contractor claims and valuations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • 0-1 year of work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Technical Skills:
  • Quantity Take-off using AutoCAD
  • Data Extraction feature
  • Measurement and inspection techniques
