Job Opportunity: Senior Costing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to manage all activities related to panel costing in the automation sector.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Siemens automation products, including PLCs, Drives, AC & DC Drives, CNC systems, DCS, PCS, Electrical Panels, and Instrumentation Panels. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation Management: Ensure accurate and timely final costing for all activities related to panel costing.
  • Automation Product Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Siemens products, automation systems, electrical and instrumentation panels.
  • Team Leadership and Coordination: Take ownership of costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers.
  • Technical Discussions and Support: Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular status reports to management regarding costing, progress, and potential issues.
  • Industry Knowledge and Skills: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of Siemens automation products and systems.
  • Proficiency in panel costing and project costing.
  • Experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle technical discussions and negotiations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Candidates should be proactive, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Prior experience in panel and automation product costing is highly preferred. Hands-on MS Excel is required. Experience with SIEPAN or SIECOST software is advantageous.
