DevOps Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation. The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, scripting languages, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Red Hat Ansible.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Work extensively with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and orchestrating applications.
  • Cloud Platform Management: Leverage practical familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP) services and resources for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts using Groovy (mandatory) and potentially Python, Perl, or Ruby for various DevOps tasks.
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus and have familiarity with IT monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • Collaboration & Project Management: Utilize Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project management, issue tracking, and documentation.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across test and production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Red Hat Ansible, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
  • Mandatory Groovy scripting knowledge.
  • Practical familiarity with public cloud resources and services, specifically Google Cloud (GCP).
  • Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Good to Have Skills:
  • Python, Perl, or Ruby scripting knowledge.
  • Terraform knowledge.
  • Familiarity with various IT monitoring and management tools like Datadog.
