Manufacturing Analytics Lead Job Description

Job Summary:

At a leading advisory firm, our data and analytics team focuses on leveraging data to drive insights and make informed business decisions. We utilize advanced analytics techniques to help clients optimize their operations and achieve their strategic goals.

In this role, you will focus on leveraging data and analytics to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making for clients. You will develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage.

  • Lead advanced analytics projects in the manufacturing domain, delivering digital solutions for core functional areas such as operations planning, scheduling, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Utilize your understanding of data-related problems and their business value across manufacturing processes.
  • Implement manufacturing best practices like LEAN/6-sigma, FMEA, and PM-PdM to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to address complex problems with a strong technical understanding of Data and Analytics platforms, architecture, and cloud platforms.
  • Design and develop diagnostic and predictive (AI) analytics use cases for manufacturing functional areas.
  • Demonstrate expertise in industrial automation, IIoT, MES, SAP, and related systems (e.g., SAP PP, PM, QM) to enhance the data-driven decision-making process.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Drive the implementation and delivery of projects using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting and delivering digital solutions for manufacturing and related functional areas.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing data collection, analysis, and advanced analytics.
  • Deep understanding of advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI models applied to manufacturing domains.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BTech)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
